A big welcome to you!
I am a lover of many things in this life, even the ritual of making and pouring a cup of tea excites me renewing and recharging my senses. It is the ‘little things’ that no longer seem small to me. It is this simple act of gratitude that I have practiced, becoming part of my life, that has given me a new perspective on living. Through the years of tough challenges this simple yet powerful practice has enabled me to see there is peace and beauty even in daily activities.
I am a lover of Chinese White Tea, Fenugreek Tea and Cumin seeds, fennel seeds and fresh mint tea, walking barefoot in the grass or on the beach, reading , walking my dogs, walking in the rain, writing,( I love journaling and writing poetry, and have found it a very valuable tool for reflection and personal growth) , cooking for my family(making our taste buds water!), meditating , yoga, restorative yoga, oracle cards, shells , rocks, trees, horse riding, I am a sky girl, I love looking at the sky, particularly sunrises and sunsets, nougat, laughing, bushwalking, the smell of the first rain on warm ground, the ocean.
My greatest love is my family, I am a mother of two amazing boys, aged 12 and 15 years who have chosen me to be their mother and to teach me great things, I am a wife of the most amazing man, who doesn’t always understand what I do and how I work but has a great respect for my lifestyle and me anyway.
I have a great deal of respect for vibrational medicine, and therapies, including Australian Bush Flower Essences, essential oils, and Qi gong . These are a big part of my life, there is always and oil burner going at home and work with added flower essences , cleansing, uplifting and nourishing our space, along with intent.
I have studied enormous amounts over the last 25 years and continue to do so, formally and personally, I consider myself forever the student and love every minute of it! My intrigue with how our thoughts can heal our lives started at a very young age for me. I was fortunate to have this gifted to me when I was such a young whipper snapper.
In discipline I have found an immense freedom, in how I spend my time, to what and how I eat, I lean more toward the Ayurvedic lifestyle ,this has worked for me, bringing back a balance that wasn’t there previously. It nourishes not only my body but my mind also, as it is naturally over stimulated at times with creativity , imagination, and vision. The natural energy of nature brings this all back in balance for me, so that I may continue sharing with others.
I have studied Reiki, Qi gong, have a diploma in Remedial Therapies specializing in Cranio Sacral therapy, Myofascial Release therapy, Trigger Point therapy, Myofascial Cupping therapy, have studied in Therapeutic Yoga with Judith Lasater, studied in workshops with Donna Farhi, diploma in Clinical Nutrition Consultant, diploma in Yoga Teaching.
I have participated in sweat lodges, co- facilitated in healing circles, facilitated yoga retreats and workshops, I have sat in the darkness of my own being and have come out into the light, I teach from this place and hold a sacred space for others that they may also grow from their experiences. The spiritual practices and quests that I have practiced and continue to practice are many.
I teach from a place of great love and respect for other peoples’ stories, as we have all have one!
I share and teach that you can empower your- self and live a life of wonder and gratitude!
I look forward to meeting with you sometime!
Love, light and laughter!
